The treatment rooms of the Spa Suites set new standards of luxury in Hawai'i. Each enjoys 550 square feet of space and features a relaxation area, changing area, private shower, signature infinity-edged soaking bath and a landscaped courtyard of Hawaiian flora. Fabrics are rich in earthy shades of olive, mustard and walnut, accented by Asian artwork and handmade Hawaiian quilts. They capture the tropical ambience of Hawai'i with plantation shutter doors, warm wood flooring and island-style ceiling fans.

The Spa Suites at the Kahala Hotel & Resort merge philosophies and techniques from Hawaiian culture and from traditional therapies around the world to keep one in a state of meditative repose.

Dozens of superlative treatments at the Kahala Spa Suites use organically grown plants, and begin with a welcome foot ritual of aromatic water blended with Hawaiian sea salts. Spa therapists then customize the day's treatment based on personal needs. Therapies encompass Face Therapy, Body Therapy, Envelopments and Kahala Signature Treatments. The CHI Fitness Center complete with a steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi provides for more strenuous spa endeavors.

Signature Treatements:

While you shower, your therapist draws your bath - a private, infinity-edge tub brimming with aromatic products. After a luxurious soak, you begin one of two treatments:

Pi'ha Kino (Full Body) - The stretching movements of this aromatherapy sports-style massage release deep-seated tensions throughout the body. Therapists place warm stones on chakras and on hands and feet for grounding. While the stones radiate soothing warmth, skilled hands relax tension points around the eyes and ears. Finish with a soothing volcanic mud scalp massage.

Lokahi (Of one mind and one spirit) - Relax to the rhythmic motion of traditional Lomi Lomi massage with warm Pohaku stones. As our special kukui-macadamia massage oil moisturizes the skin, therapists wrap legs and feet in freshly harvested Ti leaves. A light Lomi Lomi to the face, neck, and arms and a volcanic mud scalp massage leaves one in a meditative and totally relaxed state of being.

Hawaiian Skin Illumination - This facial includes a Skin Brightener, rich in natural AHAs and BHAs from Hawaiian algae and meadowsweet.

Aromatherapy Face Treatment for Men - Specifically formulated for men, this treatment uses natural balms and acupressure massage to counteract facial dryness and irritation. The perfect treat for the traveler, athlete or city dweller.
